What if we told you that Public Health of Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) has been lying to you about the seriousness of COVID-19 for nearly two years?
What if we further asserted that PHMDC, with help from Wisconsin's Department of Health Services (DHS) and the State Lab of Hygiene (SLH), has been manipulating and misrepresenting Dane County's COVID-related data for months?

Some of what Dane Undivided has to share has been right out in plain sight. Smoke and mirrors just made it difficult to see. We've discovered other aspects of manipulation through months of patient, close data analysis and the application of honest math. Open records requests and actual dialogue with individuals at PHMDC, DHS, and SLH have exposed still more troubling issues.
The bottom line? PHMDC's COVID narrative over the past 21 months has been wildly overblown and in some cases downright false. Worse still, PHMDC has used that narrative, further aided by an ever-shifting array of impossible standards and metrics, to get us to imprison ourselves and our neighbors through:
Unnecessary and never-ending mandates
Nanny-like surveillance
Division and second-class citizenry
Isolation of the vulnerable
Destruction of lives and livelihoods
Yes, we undid ourselves and our neighbors.
